Friday 6 October 2017 CSG is pleased to celebrate together twenty years of work and passion for geotechnical instrumentation.
CSG was founded in 1997 combining the professional experience gained since 1980 in the field of geo-engineering with the most up-to-date prospecting techniques, geotechnical-environmental monitoring, data acquisition and computerization. This passion has led to the creation and implementation of a completely new instrument in the geotechnical sector specifically designed for the automatic, in continuous and in real-time monitoring of great landslides. This is how the DMS “project” began and the first patent being registered in 2000. Since then many steps forward have been made, the "project" has evolved through new patents that have led to specialize the tools according to the type of application. The DMS 2D SLIDE, SLOPE, LST and GV versions and the DMS 3D MP version take shape. Recently a great DMS 3D PLUS innovation has been introduced that combines the features of the DMS 2D series with those of the DMS 3D. An instrument that opens new frontiers in geotechnical monitoring, also allowing the measurement of the component of the displacement along the z axis inside specially-designed boreholes and maintaining the characteristic modular structure so as to be fully compatible with DMS 2D systems.
